Co-Owner and Operator

I am a dad.
I am a teacher.
I am a raft guide.
I am a people-person and a person for the people.

I am an elder millennial.
I was born and raised in East Tennessee.
I have a BA in French Literature with a minor in entrepreneurship.
I have traveled and worked extensively in Europe and South Korea.

I don’t rattle easily.
I have worked on ambulances for an epoch.
I have managed short-term and Social Security Disability Claims in another epoch.
I am a hardworking, enthusiastic learner. My work is mine. I don’t make excuses for it.

I love to teach what I know.
I teach and certify CPR, AED and First Aid in multiple disciplines.
I teach water safety and rescue techniques.
I serve as a volunteer firefighter.

One day I will
Instruct Yoga and promote mindfulness to my community,
Run a successful farm,
Be a powerful force for good in the greater community of humans and nature.

David is a small business owner who loves fishin’ with friends, enjoys homesteading and does not, nor has he ever, owned a paisley shirt. Personality requires no accoutrements. His high school teachers called him a Renaissance man, and whether that trait has value in modern society is for someone else to parse out.

If you’d like to go white water rafting with David or
if you would like to schedule a CPR/First Aid course, please let us know.

Let’s smash waves!!!
